About Us

The purposes for which the Sigma Mu Chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha is organized are to operate and maintain a political science honor society; to promote worthwhile curricular and extracurricular activities related to political science; to stimulate scholarship and intelligent interest in political science; and to engage in all such activities and to take such other measures as may be necessary or appropriate to further the foregoing purposes along with goals of organizing and conducting national and international seminars, conferences, research, discussion groups, study groups, and publications in the area of political science.
